Mary but I liked Rhoda's apartment when she was married to Joe.

Rhoda's apartment reminds me of a walk in closet.

Mary's apartment was awesome, but Rhoda's apartment kind of reminds me of my room.

Definitely Rhoda. It has tons of character. But Mary's was nice though- just not fun like Rhoda's.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "cooler". More mod and hip, then Rhoda. She had those hanging beads, lots of big pillows, bright colors and a bean bag chair.

As far as which apartment I liked better and would rather have, then definitely Mary's. Hers was cute, homey, warm and inviting.

I think if you lived in the attic of your parent's house in the '70's, and it looked like Rhoda's apartment, well that would be "cool". But comparing the 2 individual apartments in that large house, Mary's would be cooler! By the way, did Rhoda have a bathroom? :lol:

No, Rhoda's apartment didn't have a bathroom. That's why she spent so much time downstairs at Mary's apartment. :lol:

If there were such a style as Bronx kitsch, Rhoda woulda invented it. I loved the crazy stuff in her apartment - but I can see others liking Mary's better.
