What are the most disturbing missing person's/murder cases for you?
For me, they're the ones which involve remains which have gone unidentified for decades--This saddens me the most because all of these remains were once people like myself and whoever is reading this thread--Some of them runaways, others prostitutes. In all cases sad that they met an untimely end.
Then there are the truly unsolved cases--Cases wherein not even a composite sketch of the perp is obtained. Probably for whatever reason the most disturbing and depressing unsolved case I've ever read about is that of Angela Hammond. It's her case that's motivated me to become involved in law enforcement because I'd like to see her cases--and cases like it--solved.
