Larry Flynt of HUSTLER offers Casey Anthony $500,000 to pose nude

Hugh Heffner has reportedly stated he won’t offer Casey Anthony the opportunity to pose nude in PLAYBOY, but that hasn’t deterred Larry Flynt of HUSTLER from making an offer.

According to reports by HLN’s Jean Casarez, Larry Flynt made the offer to Casey Anthony on July 28, 2011. Flynt made an appearance on the HLN show “Nancy Grace” where he spoke to Casarez about the offer.

Flynt refused to comment regarding whether he approached Casey Anthony for the pictorial spread or if her people approached him, but he did make some statements about the demand to see a nude Casey Anthony.






"Right after the verdict I was asked if I wanted to do something. I felt like a lot of other Americans did, I thought she was responsible for the death of her child. I felt that some people may not want to see her with her clothes on or off and I kind of forgot about the idea.

I just recently got off of my book tour where I had dozens of people coming up to me form all over; in Houston, Philly, Boston,... asking me 'Why don't you go and make an offer to Casey Anthony? Why don't you want to publish her pictures?'

Many of them actually came up and said things like she's a really attractive person and with a make-up artist and hair stylist you could have her looking really fabulous.

I've never been one to shy away from controversy because, when nobody else would, I published nude photos of Jacqueline Kennedy back in 1975 and I made $20 Million off of that, so this is something I really don't have a problem with.

We made an offer with Casey through her attorney for a half-million dollars and that's only part of it, we're willing to pay 10% of the profit. So if this thing goes viral and if it goes as big as everyone's saying it will, because of how big the trial went, she could make millions."



Flynt then gave this word of advice to Anthony’s attorneys:

"If they want to make money they need to go through me; anything else will be chicken feed."

What a sick world. It doesn't surprise me that Larry Flynt would do this. Along with Howard Stern, the guy is the king of sleeze. Doing something this sleezy is unimagineable for logical people like us, but guys like Larry Flynt only care about money. I feel sorry for people like him. They are TRULY pathetic! I'm not really "into" his magazine but if I get really bored I may go and pick it up. His style of porn is not really what I'm into personally. I do admire Flynt for his fight for freedom of speech in the U.S. Even if one doesn't agree with him or his choice of occupation he has done a lot with that; and he also exposes politicians who don't practice what they preach.

I met him a few months ago when he did his book tour for One Nation Under Sex which is very good btw.

I'm not really "into" his magazine but if I get really bored I may go and pick it up. His style of porn is not really what I'm into personally. That's cool that he's fought so much for truth and justice. I didn't know he did that, but even I'll give him credit for that. Glad you got to meet him, and that it was a good experience for you.

btw, I wanted to share my thoughts on Casey Anthony's offer:



I would be surprised if she actually accepted. I think that the best thing for her to do is to lay low and stay out of the public spotlight for a long time; especially right now since the trial just ended.

She still has to work and make a living, so as far as a "business opportunity" goes this may be the best offer she's got. If this happens I have no doubt that it will be a top seller and a collector's edition for the magazine.

I'm sure Casey also has requests for interviews, movies, and book deals which I don't think is going to happen right now. Maybe things will come a few years down the road.



I think that if she has any decency she will disappear and never be in the public eye again and she should try to do something worth while with her life.

But if that is not her thing, HUSTLER is probably as good as it's going to get for her.

Her offer from Vivid Entertainment (a porn company) was retracted after (from what I read) the fans pretty much said they were not interested in such a video. I mean it's one thing to wonder about Gennifer Flowers or Jessica Hahn or even Tonya Harding but my guess is that the lingering notion that she may well have had something to do with her own daughter's death (and her bizarre, to say the least, behavior afterwards) is going to put out the fire of all but the most callous and "out there" porn fans.

I mean, you really can't underestimate human depravity, I know, but if the Vivid thing is any indication, Casey might not have an audience to play to here.

It's kind of like when an adult child-killer goes to prison. Even prisoners have standards when it comes to committing crimes against children. If a child molester/killer goes to prison, chances are they'll eventually be attacked by other inmates if they're there long enough.

Yep, that is indeed Tundro, the rhinoceros/triceratops/caterpillar thing from Herculoids, and Gloop and Gleep "the formless, fearless wonders". Loved the cartoon when it was rebroadcast on NBC in the middle to late Seventies. It must have been a blast to remember when the great Hanna Barbera action series dominated Saturday mornings. I was born in '64 so I really don't remember many cartoons before '69 or so, but I'm glad I caught the reruns of this and Space Ghost and Frankenstein, Jr., and Mightor, etc.

Yeah, those were cool cartoons for kids. I was about 7 when Herculoids first came on. They, along with a late 60s cartoon version of Superman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Adventures_of_Superman_%28TV_series%29), were my favorite Saturday morning adventure cartoons For comedy, we had the great Warner Brothers cartoons with Bugs and Company, along with Tom & Jerry and The Pink Panther cartoons. Made for a full Saturday morning.
