A little over a week ago, I posted a message in an attempt to stimulate some conversation. So far, it seems as if no one here has found my comment to be worthy of a response. Par for the course! In any event, I would now like to post a new message to commemorate the forty-eight views that my message has received so far. Forty-eight years ago, Helen Hunt was born. A while back, several people including me have written about the fact that she was considered for the part of Katie from this show. Does anyone reading this think that she would have been good for the part? Because of the parts that I associate her with that came after "Gimme a Break!", I would have a very hard time picturing her doing a dumb blond routine. However, I guess that a good actor or actress has to be able to play a lot of different roles. Furthermore, in my last post, I concentrated on the third season episode called "Samantha's Protest" and the poetic justice that I felt that Katie received at the end. I would have a very hard time picturing Helen Hunt playing the part of a girl who would ever put her arms, her bosoms and her crotch where they do not belong! Before signing off, I would just like to give you guys a little bit more food for thought about other things besides Helen Hunt's birth that took place in 1963. I am sure that a lot of you know that was the year that President Kennedy was assasinated. On top of that, optional prayer in the public schools was outlawed by the federal government and the movie "Lilly's of the Field" made its debut. See you around!
