I replied to prairiefan71's thread about "melrose place (2009)" back on June 17th 2011.After agreeing to just a simple blank dvd for the episodes, they agreed on sending a blank dvd at the latest that following tuesday (the 21st). I've already burnt the dvd its all packaged up and waiting for their address (which I never got). prairiefan71 sent another pm to me on june 28th saying they had to get more discs and will be sending the dvd out shortly. And that was the last I've heard from them. They did make a thread not too long ago looking for other shows. I just don't understand whats the big deal about sending out a dvd? If they found it elsewhere they could at least tell me so I'm not holding onto a dvd for nothing. I never sent out anything and I've never received anything so I can't say bad trader but definitely a waste of time

I would agree with you, if they can't mail a single dvd, a blank one at that, in a month's time that is pretty pathetic, especially if they are making posts on the forum asking for other stuff. It's pretty sad they couldn't follow through as you weren't even really getting anything out of the deal, you were trying to help someone out of kindness. Thankfully, you wouldn't be out too much. I always try to encourage when you are trading with someone you don't know, to start off small first, then if it goes well, you can do bigger trades later on.

Sorry to hear about your problem. I had a trade with prairiefan71 myself in the same time frame (June), and it went fine. Received their mailing promptly, no issues.
