Iv'e had many celebrities answer my messages, and Iv'e had a few celebrities who I became fairly close with over the years, both on myspace, and on facebook. Here are the three who I actually became friends with. Country/Christian musician Mindy Smith, Christian singer Chris Rice, and former Real World cast member Coral. All are amazing people!! Several cast members of Dark Shadows are on facebook, and I've gotten responses from Alexandra Moltke (Isles), Donna McKechnie, Marie Wallace, Christopher Pennock, Sharon Smyth, and I have actually become very good friends with Kathleen Cody. (She even made me administrator on her page!) Very warm and welcoming group of people.

Abe Vigoda was also on Dark Shadows! Weird coincidence. He's got to be in his eighties by now - I'm impressed that he's on facebook.

Wow, that is awesome Liza. It's nice to know that there are some celebs out there who actually genuinely care about there fans, considering the fact that so many of them don't.

Another couple of celebs that I was pretty close with at one time were movie director, Penelope Spheeris, and sitcom, and tv movie star, Meredith Baxter. Both very genuine human beings. :)

I haven't had any contact with celebrities on Facebook. But I have received over twenty responses, via email, from actress Susan Silo (who also gave me permission to create a Susan Silo Fan Club page on Facebook). BTW, look for Susan on the voice actors panel at this year's Los Angeles Comic Con, on Sept. 24th and 25th (wish I were going!). :)

As a member of Khrystyne Haje's Facebook fan club page, I can say that Khrystyne herself actually does write back to people from that fan club. Khrystyne is VERY sweet to her fans for taking the time to share stories and interact with the members of her fan club whenever she can. I know they really appreciate it. Oh, and did I mention Khrystyne actually wrote back to me at least three times so far (Yes, she actually knows who I am!!!!)?

I'm not friends with any celebrities on ther but once Larry the cable guy responded to one of my coments and addressed me by name.

Jay Anthony Franke (Jake Somers from California Dreams) responds to my stauses sometimes. He was the first one to wish me a Happy Birthday last year, too.

Brentley Gore (Matt Garrison, also from California Dreams) also has responded to my messages. He even repeated one of my questions to him in a "Note" he made.

Farrah Forke (Alex Lambert from Wings) has also responded to me. She seems like a very nice person. She's no longer acting, btw.

I know they're not big celebrities to the world but they are to me and it was very exciting whenever the respond to me.

On Twitter, I've gotten responses from Josh Saviano, Dax Shepard, Jeffrey Ross, Marc Maron, Dan Simon of CNN, Keith Olbermann and John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants.

Oh, and Kelly Oxford. Does she qualify as "famous?"

Richard Brooks (Law & Order) is great at responding. Plus, he's from Cleveland and still has family here, so that was great to have that connection. He's also fantastic at answering questions about L&O and other projects. There are others that are also great at keeping in touch with their fans: Susan "Cindy Brady" Olsen, Geri "Fake Jan" Reischl, Susan Buckner (Grease), Ryan's Hope stars Louise Shaffer and Kelli Maroney, to name a few. I got a reply from Lee Goldberg, who writes the 'Monk' series of books when I asked about a character's appearance in one of them.

Not TV, but Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue is on FB and answers questions put to him. He's on quite often, and can be very funny. He uses naughty language, though, so be warned.

I actually met Barry Pearl, the guy who played Doody in Grease on Kathy Cody's web page. He went to school with Kathy and I actually called him out for not knowing Joan Bennett was in Dark Shadows :crazy: Very nice guy.

Forgot to mention Shavar Ross, who played on several tv series, including Diff'rent Strokes, and Family Matters, and who is now a Christian movie director. Actually got his email address from the Diff'rent Strokes board here at SO 8 or 9 years ago. I think he even visits SO on occasions.

I've also recently heard back from Kathryn Leigh Scott and Jerry Lacy as well. :D

I am Facebook friends with one of my favorite ex-athletes, who won a Gymnastics Bronze Medal with the USA team at the 92 Barcelona Olympics. Her name is Wendy Bruce, and she is really nice and have chatted with her a few times now. Pretty cool ;) for me.
