Dear Mr. Iger,

I have a proposal for ABC Family: to make a deal with Buena Vista Television for ABC Family to have exclusivity in airing reruns of the hit 1991-1999 sitcom "Home Improvement," beginning in Fall 2012.

The series starred Tim Allen as Tim Taylor, the host of a local cable TV show based in Detroit, Michigan called Tool Time.

On Tool Time, Tim was reluctantly assisted by Al Borland (Richard Karn), a master plumber who knew a lot more about tools than Tim ever did.

On the show, Tim had a major knack for getting himself involved in every accident imaginable; at home, he was no different: he lived at 510 Glenview Road in Detroit, Michigan with his wife of 12 years, Jill (Pat Richardson), and their three rambunctious sons--10-year-old Brad (Zachery Bryan), 9-year-old Randy (Jonathan Thomas), and 6-year-old Mark (Taran Smith).

"Home Improvement" originated on the ABC Television Network from September 17, 1991 - May 25, 1999, where it lasted 8 years and 203 episodes. The series was produced by Wind Dancer Productions, Inc. in association with Walt Disney Television.

When Home Improvement airs on ABC Family they should air the episodes in order from 1 to 203 and have the episodes like the original airings like the ABC airings.

If Home Improvement airs on the Hallmark Channel they can air it also on ABC Family because it will go well on 2 channels.

Yes. Especially now since Hallmark Channel dropped the show.

Plus my mom refuses to get a cable box so we don't get HC at my house. There are about a bunch of channels we're supposed to get, but because we don't have a cable box we don't get them.

And we're losing ME-TV later this year because WZME in Bridgeport is losing the rights to the network and no station in Hartford/New Haven carries the network.

I agree...

BOTH are Disney-owned and I think It's time that ABC Family becomes a station that plays Disney-owned shows or ABC Shows...as well as original programing.

I wish I was a TV Mogul now...

They should also think about airing Home Improvement on MTV2 because it would be a great fit for this channel!!!
