Kathie Lee Beams About Her Daughter's "Blue Bloods" Cameo (VIDEO)

Kathie Lee Gifford didn't have to go far to get her story for Thursday's edition of "The Scoop" on "Today".

Gifford beamed into a proud stage mother when talking about her daughter Cassidy's upcoming cameo on the police drama "Blue Bloods". Gifford recently visited the set to watch Cassidy, who turns 18 next month.





"My daughter Cassidy had a small role on Tom Selleck's CBS show "Blue Bloods". They were filming at a bar, apple doesn't fall far.

I was a little nervous until I saw her do the first take and I said 'she's fine'. She plays this, you know some of these bars here serve underage kids, so I guess Tom Selleck's youngest son goes undercover... I didn't read the whole script.

Cassidy and her girlfriend come in a little tipsy and start flirting with Tom Selleck's youngest son at the bar. Then they go off to the bathroom because the girlfriend wants to do a head of coke.

So good for you Cass!!! And save some crystal meth for mama!!"
