Gloria was totally wrong to feed her family horse meat and her excuses to Mike and Edith were lame. She knew she was wrong otherwise tell everyone all at once. Mike and Edith should not have just let it drop.

If it were me, Gloria would never cook for me again.

Yep, she should be banned from cooking but made to do all the kitchen clean-up work after that stunt.

It was stated at the time that meat prices were rising so high that lots of people bought horse meat as a cheap subsitute


Me on the otherhand don't believe in subsitutes and would have just went on a Meat strike-lol

Mike changed his mind about it and was digging into it and in the final scene Archie was asking for leftovers never finding out what it was. Only Edith got upset and since she did all the cooking usually..... "Ma, we're not eating Mr. Ed..."

Yeah, Gloria would never cook for me either......who knows if she would resort to kittens when horse meat went up. That was disgusting! I always know what I'm putting in my mouth!
