'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' Details Revealed!
by Gregory Burkart
July 20, 2011

Here it comes, kids... a month ago we confirmed that Alice Cooper will be releasing the long-awaited sequel to his classic album 'Welcome to My Nightmare this fall.

We also heard about a "fan pack" offer available in the UK in September, which apparently contains a special edition magazine with the entire album plus a pile of extra goodies.

Now the creators of the fan pack have revealed the complete contents – including the album track listing and a couple of bonus tracks – and they're taking preorders now.

Publishing site Myfavouritemagazines.co.uk posted the contents of the package under the full title 'Classic Rock Presents: Alice Cooper Welcome 2 My Nightmare'.

The special edition of Classic Rock magazine will give hardcore fans (and that's pretty much all of us) the opportunity to hear the album one month ahead of its official release date.

The advance order package (applying to all preorders before August 15th) includes the entire album plus:

- two exclusive bonus tracks
- a personalized poster
- the 132-page magazine containing a new interview with Cooper and a complete illustrated overview of his career

The publisher also released the complete tracklist from 'Nightmare 2':

"I Am Made Of You"
"Caffeine"
"The Nightmare Returns"
"A Runaway Train"
"Last Man On Earth"
"The Congregation"
"I'll Bite Your Face Off"
"Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever"
"Ghouls Gone Wild"
"Something To Remember Me By"
"When Hell Comes Home"
"What Baby Wants"
"I Gotta Get Outta Here"
"The Underture"
"Under The Bed" (bonus track)
"Poison" (bonus live track from the Download Festival)

About the only thing they didn't reveal was the album art, but I expect we'll be seeing that very soon.

The fan pack will be available on September 16th, and the standard album release will arrive on October 17th, just in time for Halloween... but if you've got serious love for The Coop, you really need to jump on this advance deal - http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/alice-cooper-welcome-2-my-nightmare/

Stay tuned for more info!

Alice Cooper Previewing 'Welcome 2' Tonight!
by Gregory Burkart
August 19, 2011

Brothers and sisters in horror and rock 'n' roll, the hour is almost nigh for the release of Alice Cooper's 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare', the long-awaited sequel to his 1975 smash concept album – a musical landmark that proved rock plus shock equals awesome.

We've been keeping our eyes and ears open for new details, and the Coop's about to drop a big one on ya: tonight on his radio show "Nights With Alice Cooper," the rock legend and 2011 hall-of-famer will give you a chance to hear some choice excerpts from the record, including the first single in its entirety.

Alice announced on the radio show's official site that he would be choosing some tracks to play on tonight's episode, along with some personal commentary about the making of the album.

The show will kick off with the premiere of the first single 'I'll Bite Your Face Off', and he suggested he might also be playing some other songs from the 14-track album in their entirety; the titles 'Runaway Train' and 'I Gotta Get Outta Here' were mentioned, but there's no telling which ones he's decided on.

During the five-hour special, Alice also plans on discussing the creative process behind the album – which will be released worldwide on September 17th – including his collaboration with production partner Bob Ezrin, original band members Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce and Neal Smith, edgy popster Ke$ha, and legendary guitarist Steve Hunter (one of the main contributors to the original 'Nightmare').

Check out the "Nights With Alice Cooper" website for a complete list of all online radio stations carrying the show:

I've read his original one, he wrote it in his 20s back in 1976

Golf Monster was the one I read. He told so many funny stories - his account of meeting Liberace alone is worth the read. I was on the floor laughing.

Alice Cooper Will 'Bite Your Face Off' in New Video
by Gregory Burkart
Aug. 24, 2011

We've got just a few more weeks before Alice Cooper's long-awaited album 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' is unleashed on the world... and if you followed our advice and tuned in to Alice's own radio show "Nights With Alice Cooper" last Friday, you would have heard the world premiere of the album's first single, 'I'll Bite Your Face Off'

But even if you missed the show, you can still catch the song right here: the shock-rock master has rolled out the official music video for the single, and you can watch it below.

Featuring a sweet jam session-style performance by the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band (Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway & Neal Smith), this new track has some old roots... and if you detect a little taste of 'Brown Sugar' in the mix, it's no accident: the Coop has admitted the song is strongly influenced by early-era Rolling Stones.

That may be, but the lyrics are pure Alice – telling the macabre tale of a literally man-hungry vixen who sounds like a brutal new version of the 'Black Widow' from the original 1975 'Welcome to My Nightmare'.

The track is edited to a greatest-moments montage of Alice's legendary stage show, which all adds up to a freakishly fun three minutes.
