I haven't, unfortunately. :( The last time I was in Boston, I was sixteen and my family only had one day to see everything there. Not to mention that I'm still too young to go in and order a beer...getting there, though!

I've been to the set where they filmed the show, which is in the Museum of Entertainment in Hollywood. That place is so much fun, and they let you take pictures. It's really, really cool if you ever get a chance to see it.

It's on Hollywood Boulevard, very close to the Chinese Theatre. They've got a bunch of TV sets there--Star Trek is the other big one they advertise.

Ted Danson and Kelsey Grammer both have stars on the Walk of Fame right outside the museum.

I've been to the bar. It looks nothing like it did on the TV show, except for the outside. You can check out a virtual tour (http://www.cheersboston.com/tour/tour.html) at the official web site.

The original bar(the Bull and Finch Pub) ISN'T supposed to look like the Cheers from the show. the replica bar at the Feuniel(too lazy too look up the spelling) Hall Marketplace doesnt look like it outiside, but it does inside

I WAS REALLY SURPRISED,I noticed just how much differant it really is than the tv show when i took one of those virtal tours, thanks for clearing the part about how the cheers set was not modled after that bar, because i thought that i heard once that the bull and pub in boston was the supposed model for the cheers bar,but thanks for telling

Well, they did model the idea for the show after the Bull and Fitch, but the physical apperences are different. So, when you hear that the show is modeled from Bull and Fitch, they are talking about the idea of a neighborhood bar, where everybody knows your name!:)

the floorplan was the same(the main bar and a hallway to the backroom), but it was expanded alot , and made into an island bar
