Some of you might remember my pen name from a while back. It has been months since I have been here. This is because of I have pretty much beat into the ground everything that I can think of, nothing new seems to be happening and I would get very few responses. It seems as though the vast majority of this show's fans have gotten on with there lives. It is like this on a lot of this site's pages that I used to frequent. In any event, one particular episode that I really beat into the ground up until about six months ago was "Samantha's Protest". This is simply because that episode had such an impact on me that I had a very hard time letting it go! I was very greatful when a fellow poster on this site uploaded it onto You Tube! This was before a Canadian company finely put it out on DVD. Just in case anyone is interested, a few hours ago, I posted a new comment on the first of the three segments of the You Tube upload of the episode. In any event, on several occasions I have mentioned how, whenever I hear the word disgusting, it always takes me back to Julie's words of wisdom at the protest! It is the word that she used to describe the way the Katie held her body against the handsome boy from the protest. What a naughty girl! In any event, I have heard the word disgusting on a bunch of occasions in between the last time that I wrote about it and the present moment. I have been tempted to post new messages about it, but I felt that, at this point, I was simply beating a dead horse. A couple of hours ago, I watched an episode of "Family Ties" called "Beyond Therapy". At the start of the episode, Alex and Lauren returned home from an event offered by the ecconomics department of his school. He mentioned there having been a kissing booth at this event. Lauren responded to this references with "kissing money is disgusting"! All I had to do was hear the word and I was taken right back to Julie in the protest in 1984! I felt that today was finely the day to see if anyone was interested in discussing this topic again!
