A friend complained that Alice was too "Country" to enjoy. Is it too Country or rural to enjoy? Does Alice hold up for repeat viewings?

I want Alice on DVD from 1976-1980  Brian Damage 07-16-2011, 11:31 PM I have never seen any cows on Alice so I would have to say No! to it being a rural/country sit-com. I watched it for several years when I was young but to be very honest it had a sweetheart time slot on CBS Sunday nights, and had there been anything better on I doubt I would have made it part of my regular schedule. 70s show watcher 07-17-2011, 07:46 AM [QUOTE=Retro4Life]I don't think it was too rural, unless you count rural Phoenix as being farm country. :) I do, however, agree that it doesn't hold up that well in syndication, particularly the later seasons.
