I don't know the name of the person who said this, but it was a movie critic commenting that most of what was coming out in the movies, in his opinion, was lousy, and along comes a so-so movie, not as lousy as the lousy ones, yet everyone thinks it's the best movie ever made, because they're conditioned to low expectations. In general, I think it's a good axiom in any area of endeavor, to raise the bar high and strive for excellence.

Got this one from a facebook friend. Amazing how this advice actually helps, if you put it into action. This stuff use to be merely quotes to me, but now many of these quotes are becoming more of a way of life since Iv'e been putting them into action. :). The Roseanne theme song in the last season. The last season wasn't a favorite of mine, at all! but, I loved the theme song and the words made sense. They make you really think.
