In the first video, the first cuff did not lock, so the officer used his knee to
close it. In the second video, the officer pushed the second cuff through using
the webbing between his thumb and his second finger and pushed it out using
his middle finger before placing the cuff on the suspect's right hand. What do
you think of such techniques?

Not really sure in all honesty. i know that police officers train for years in this stuff, so i'm sure they know what they are doing. Just not my area of expertise. Rememebr, iv'e been handcuffed, but iv'e never handcuffed anybody.

i use to watch cops all the time and always got a kick out of the grown men crying saying, my cuffs are too tight. Hahaha! i'm sorry you're in pain poor criminal, but i'd rather you have a little discomfort, than for the cuffs to be too loose, so you can escape and hurt the innocent.

We do the story on the air, and i'm doing my voiceover, and they show a shot of Walter, and i say, gee look at Walter, man he looks like Ghandi, i think i can take him. Haha.

It made him feel like someone stabbed him in the heart, it devastated him, because the media never attacked him before, they had never said anything negative.

My style on the air, i'm a real wise guy, and this really came back to bite me. i was absolutely devastated. i tried to call Walter immediately, but he was too upset to come to the phone.

The people who were making jokes, and who said all these other things, i don't think they had a clue, you know, out of ignorance sometimes we do say things.

Walter sobbing: To the people that really care about me, just continue to pray. And to those who are gonna say what they want to say, may GOD be with you also.

He leads a great, and exemplary football life, and now he feels that because this is America, we demand to know every single thing about every single celebrity, that a guy who has always shown us the best, of himself and his sport, has to call a press conference, to reassure us that he didn't get this disease by doing something bad. He said pray for me, and you know what, i'm thinking, pray for us all!!!

One night in my office i'm working on the show, and the phone rings, and it's this familair little elfish voice saying you're sure a hard man to get ahold of. And i said oh Walter, and he said hey look man, voice trembles, hey you didn't know, you had no way of knowing, and iv'e known you for 17 years and hey you know i forgive you, forget about it. i was just very emotional at the time and couldn't talk with you. i hung up the phone and i was just absolutely stunned again, here's a man who knew at that time that he was dying, and he went out of his way to call me, and forgive me. That's one of the greatest gifts i have ever received in my life.
