I just watched that movie and I like it a lot. I could never look at Henry Winkler as fonzy again. Anyway, my question is this...Shelly Long had the same voice in that movie and even some of the same actions as in Cheers, but my main observation is the voice, after she left Cheers and made an appearence in the two episodes 'One for the Road'I notice her voice was totally different she did not have the Cheers voice in those two episodes and it seemed kind of weird. What was going on there? Did she not have the time to get back into character? Also, the regulars in the bar meaning -- Cliff, Norm etc. did not seem to react to her at all she seemed like a stranger among the old crew. What do you guys think was going on there?

I do think there was tension between the Cheers crew and Shelley Long. I do think you make an excellent observation on her character though, because she just didn't seem to be the same. Perhaps that was done intentionally?

You know you could be right it probably was done intentionally because she was gone for 6 yrs and became somewhat successful and therefore her life and everything else had change along with her maturity...
