I will start FRESH from the beginning of the series this weekend and get to see how the show changed over time. I watched enough of it to start the DVD collection and now will see it UNEDITED fir the first time.


BTW: I found it funny that a white man was buying two DVD's of the Jeffersons while me a black man was buying two DVD's of All in the Family

Hey Solomon, I just went through the entire series for the first time from November 2009 through February of last year. I had to tape the last three seasons on VHS in the last days of analog cable in my area. I am so glad they are on DVD now. I had always wanted to watch it since it is the parent show of our beloved Jeffersons. I love it! But, The Jeffersons is still a little bit better in my opinion. I think George and Archie are in a deadlock for the title of the funniest lead character, but The Jeffersons win because it has better supporting characters.

That's a funny story about you and that guy buying those DVDs. I remember a few years ago I bought a Jeffersons t-shirt that I saw at a record store. I wore it out in public a few times. A few black (and even white people) looked at me funny.
