I love the theme music to this show. I remember as a little kid when my mom watched TLS and she wouldn't miss it for the world, that I would almost hear this theme in my sleep. It was the only part about the show that I liked at the time. Me and Mom had a deal too. If I was quiet when TLS was on, then she would let me watch Gilligans island, even though she didn't like the show. I think she was jealous of Ginger. LOL. BTW. I still love Lucy. And I also love The Lucy Sow today.

I agree with you there. For me, my favorite theme music for a Lucille Ball series is a toss-up between this and the theme music for I Love Lucy, and it's my favorite theme music of any 1960s sitcom. Very well done. The Lucy Show theme was written by Wilbur Hatch, who also composed the theme music for Here's Lucy, Our Miss Brooks and December Bride. Perhaps my favorite version is this one is by Nelson Riddle's orchestra, and was never actually heard on the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrWUlzCWChA

WOW! 1st time I heard that one. Kind of Jazzy isn't it? Too bad they didn't use it. Now that I have heard it, I love them both.
