Watched this episode tonight on the DVD set. Was there ever a ruling into what happened? Was she murdered? Did she commit suicide?

I always found this case very strange. She hired a private investigator to help find out who was harassing her so if she was doing everything to herself, as some suggested, then she was truly unaware of it and very mentally ill. I really felt sorry for this woman, regardless of what happened.

Any updates are appreciated!

There are no updates that I know of. Two books written about the case are interesting and give more details. Cindy's sister has posted on here in the past. She was writing a book but no idea if or when its being published. I have read both books and I believe she was murdered.

I believe she was murdered as well. Certainly people can have mental problems and do strange things but in this case I think whatever mental problems she had were caused but what was happening to her. I'll look for the books.

Did Cindys sister ever post about what her father had to tell her about the case? If she did I couldnt find it so I assume she can't mention it.

It seems kind of cheesy... her Sister keeps hinting that she knows alot. that the book has a shocker ending. yet we've all been waiting years for the book to be published. how long does it take a book to get published tho?

Does anyone feel like the book itself is exploitive & that it seems to be milking Cindy's death? I realize I'm no better for being curious and wanting to read it though. just feels like she's being overly mysterious about the whole thing for the sake of her book.

That's the one thing that's always got me about this case. Cindy said she knew who was torturing her, yet never once reached out and attempted to reveal who it was. I believe there was another post regarding this case that said Cindy's father was just about to reveal a "shocker" about the case before he died, but I don't buy it. I personally think she was the one tormenting herself, since no viable suspects have ever surfaced after all of these years.

This is one of my favourite cases and I too believe she was murdered. I would love to read Cindy's sister's book--I hope it comes out soon.
