Why don't I specify whether this is the season or series finale of Men of a Certain Age in the title of this review? Well, because not enough of you are watching, and TNT has all the right to pull the plug after tonight's spectacular season 2 finale. Spectacular. Tonight's episode left room open for Joe, Terry, and Owen to all screw up their current good fortunes if we are fortunate enough to come back in 2012 for a third season, but also acted as a fantastic series finale. This show was never about happy endings, but tonight's finale was the closest I ever expected we would get to one at the end of Men of a Certain Age's sophomore run. It also proved why this show will be taking the number one spot on my "Best of 2011" list come this December!
