Man Accused Of Having 16,000 Illegal DVDs
Police: Illegal DVDs Hidden Inside Car

Houston -- A Houston man has been accused of hiding thousands of illegal DVDs in his car. Byron Garcia, 20, has been charged with selling/possession of unlabeled recordings. Houston police said they found 16,000 illegal DVDs in Garcia's car on Saturday. Garcia went before a magistrate's judge Monday and said he knew the DVDs were illegal. Investigators said Garcia has not revealed who made the illegal DVDs. He was scheduled to go to court Wednesday to have an attorney assigned.

Holy cow!! 16,000 dvd's? :eek: He must have like every movie ever made. He must have a big car too. lol How the heck was he able to fit them all in their???

It sounds like a lot but it really isn't. I've seen lots of bootleg DVD vendors around here.

They are usually made with a piece of paper wrapped in plastic with the DVD inside a slim paper-case and are very easy to make in bulk. Most of the people go around with back-packs filled with all bootlegged movies. They can fit well over a couple of hundred in each bag.

They don't have the weight and size of the standard DVD case you would buy in the store.
