TV: First Photo from "Dexter" Season 6

Okay, it's nothing we haven't seen Dexter Morgan do before, but I'm sure fans eager to see anything from "Dexter" season six don't give a crap.

Even if it is a photo of Dex retrieving some samples from a corpse, which he has done...oh, the last five seasons.





EW - the site that premiered the pic - dropped some SPOILERS:

It seems that Dex is collecting and bagging baby snakes that were found on the body. Of course, it's a message.

"That is the first mysterious kill linked to Professor Gellar that's going to cross Dexter's path and let him know that he’s up against a killer, the likes of which he hasn't seen before," executive producer Scott Buck tells EW.

A Look at Mos Def in "Dexter" Season 6

The latest print edition of Entertainment Weekly features this image from the sixth season of "Dexter".

That's Michael C. Hall with series newcomer Mos Def.

There's a good reason Dex is casting a suspicious eye Def's way. He believes Def's character, Brother Sam, isn't who he says he is.

Keck's Exclusives: First Look - Dexter Goes Home Again

When Showtime's "Dexter" returns October 2, Dexter's dual personas as daddy and serial killer will exist side by side after he moves back to his old apartment complex.

In addition to his original space with the air-conditioner where he stores his victims' blood samples (every home should have one), Dex has also moved into the adjoining apartment, a more colorful dwelling for toddler Harrison.



"Harrison's got the sweetest apartment of any 2-year-old I've ever known," says Michael C. Hall. "It's a swinging pastel pad with a lot of toys."



Executive producer Sara Colleton explains that with a doorway connecting the units, Dexter "can easily slip in and out" without being caught by Harrison's nanny, psychology student Jamie (Aimee Garcia).

Or so he hopes....
