I've often thought that Princess Diana would have loved her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton. Still, this picture seems inappropriate to me. It made me even sadder to see what will never be. It's a terrible picture of Diana too. She'd be 50 now, so it appears they made her look that. What are your thoughts? Please vote in the poll.

I don't know a whole lot about how this royalty business works, but I'm sure that they would probably consider it to be somewhat beneath them to personally comment on something like that.

I'm pretty sure that 99.9% of the folks out there agree with you that it's a totally tasteless cover, which it is.

I don't mind seeing Kate and Diana on the cover of a magazine together but why couldn't they have just done a side by side picture and picked a better topic for an article. Really tacky to "age" Diana like that. And IMO, I think she'd look a lot better than that picture represents.

I'm sure we'll hear something from someone in the Royal Family about this in the future.

undoubtedly done to attract attention to the magazine and sell more copies... Sales must really be slipping for the magazine to resort to a non-news cover "story" like that... If it was a proper photo of Diana, a thread about the magazine cover probably wouldn't exist here, so they succeeded in attracting attention to the magazine... Diana sold many magazines while she was alive, and I'm sure she still does...

I just think the whole thing was a BAD idea. Ill-conceived and tasteless.
