MTS has so many episodes I often run across one I have not seen (or not seen in several years) so imagine my surprise when I watched "Office Mother" last night and see William Demarest & Joan Blondell together in the kitchen.

What was strange was that earlier yesterday I was watching a few Twilight Zone episodes from Season 5 and one of them was titled "What's In The Box" featuring, you guessed it: William Demarest & Joan Blondell. Of course this time there was no comedy involved. I wonder if they made any movies together back in the day or was it just coincidence that they landed together on MTS for an episode.

According to IMDB.com (http://www.imdb.com/search/title?roles=nm0218131,nm0000951&title_type=feature,tv_episode,video,tv_movie,tv_special,mini_series,documentary,game,short,unknown), they were only in one movie together, Won Ton Ton: The Dog Who Saved Hollywood in 1976. Turner Classic Movies is having a Joan Blondell Day in August. I can't wait.

That's great news. TCM is about the only movie channel worth watching any more and even now they are starting to sneak in more and more modern movies. Ugh! I'll definitely tune in for a day Joan Blondell's movies though. Thanks for the info.
