Did the Ricardo's and Metzes ever say where they lived? I mean I know they lived in new york city, before they moved to Connecticut but where in new york city? Was it Brooklyn? Queens? Manahttan? or any of the other islands? I never found out myself and was curious. In the episode where they head out to California it looks like they are driving over the Brooklyn bridge, so maybe it's Brooklyn?

Their address was mentioned on the show as being 623 E. 68th Street which I believe would be in Manhattan.

"623 East 68th Street" is somewhere in the middle of the East River. That's where the neighborhood is supposed to be. Since "I LOVE LUCY" was a TV show, a fictional apartment house and neighborhood was created for the Ricardos and Mertzes to live in....otherwise, people would be looking for that area and bothering residents to this day.

Plus, 623 East 68th Street just seems to flow off the tongue really nice and easy!!!

If it were an actual address (and not actually in the East River), 623 E 68th St would be in Manhattan. Though, speaking of, I don't think the address of their house in Westport, CT was ever mentioned, come to think of it.
