Wonderful actor and a wonderful person. Max has gone to join the Profesor. associate 06-24-2011, 05:37 PM Just heard. Always loved Peter Falk, especially on Columbo. A great loss for Hollywood. :( "Just one more thing, sir." ClassicTVGal 06-24-2011, 07:13 PM Yes, I just read over on yahoo. Apparently, my parents knew, but didn't tell me, lol... My mom said he was 83 and had the beginning of alzheimer's disease. :( May God Bless (and be with) all his family and friends... catlover79 06-24-2011, 08:35 PM :rip: I heard this on the news earlier in the evening. He was also great as the grandfather in The Princess Bride. God bless him and his family. Rest in Peace, Mr. Falk. old grouch 06-25-2011, 09:22 AM RIP, Peter.:( BuddyHinton 05-01-2012, 06:48 PM The great thing about Falk was he didn't play Columbo - he was Columbo. It's so sad to watch the shows now and to think the key to his character is sorting out minor details and that's an area he lost later in life. |
