Architect Wilbur Post (Alan Young) and his wife Connie (Connie Hines) are once again up to their ears in trouble — and hilarity — with the mischief brought on by their meddlesome talking horse.

This season Ed looks for his father, opens a juice stand, volunteers for Air Force sentry duty, gets contact lenses, becomes involved in a bank robbery and takes up painting.
