I just watched the Daytime Awards and they stunk. I mean it was an informercial for Las Vegas and Universal Studios!! They made it sound like Las Vegas and Universal Studios were going to shut down w/o those informercials. I mean no reels for who was nominated!!! Whats that about??

What the hell was with that Oprah tribute?? Shes not disappearing??? She still has HER OWN CHANNEL!!! What a disgrace. Then they had the nerve to rush through the rest of the show. You its funny. These producers and execs do all they can to kill daytime but yet they turn to an awards show to plug all there crap, like Las Vegas, Universal Studios. They need daytime for that but thats it.

The producers and execs at the shows don't really have any say in how the Daytime Emmys are produced, though, so it's really not their fault.

It was BRUTAL!!! So glad I dvr-ed and could skip through most of it and watched it in about 15 minutes. Do we really need a variety show with a travelogue about Las Vegas thrown in? :rolleyes:
