Emmy-winning actress Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") will be the guest judge on this week’s episodes of Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance" (Wed. and Thurs. at 8 p.m. ET/PT), joining permanent judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy.

Kristin Chenoweth will appear on an upcoming episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" as a guest judge.
The "Glee" guest star will drop by for the June 29 and 30 episodes.

Lady Gaga on "SYTYCD"

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told Entertainment Tonight that the over-the-top artist will stop by to guest judge on the hit Fox reality show later this season.
Gaga certainly knows a thing or two about what makes a memorable performance, but no word yet on whether or not she'll do a number on the show herself.

A Fox source told Entertainment Weekly that Lady Gaga will be a guest judge on "SYTYCD" sometime before the talent show's Season 8 Finale in August.

The big stars keep on coming to "So You Think You Can Dance".
Look for "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris to serve as a guest judge on the Emmy-nominated Fox dancing competition.
According to Zap2It, Harris will appear on the Wed., July 20 episode.

Katie Holmes To Guest Judge On "So You Think You Can Dance"

Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has signed on to judge an upcoming episode of U.S. talent show "So You Think You Can Dance".
The "Batman Begins" star has been invited to sit on the judging panel alongside Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, while High School Musical director/choreographer Kenny Ortega is also set to make a special appearance.
Holmes, a big fan of the TV competition, revealed the news during an appearance on talk show "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, shortly before jetting from New York to Los Angeles to fit the taping into her tight schedule.
She said, "I'm flying out tonight and going to be a guest judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance' with Kenny Ortega, Nigel and Mary. I love that show."

with the 8th season of so you think you can dance ending a few weeks ago, it still couldn't beat america's got talent in the ratings stakes. despite all those guest judges.
i was majorly disappointed with this year's show- it has lost its spark. clearly, the judges seem to favour dance styles such as contemporary and hip hop over the lesser known ones. i lost interest after the 5th ep and stopped watching.
if SYTYCD is going to survive at least 2 more seasons, they need to revamp the format. because who wants to see the same thing every week? not me.
