Have you ever seen a tv landmark? If so how does it compare to what is seen on tv?

Years ago visiting friends in Boulder, CO , driving down a street at night a friend turned around and told me to look at that house.
To me it was just a house , when he told me thats the "Mork & Mindy" house- the house where they filmed the outside of it for the tv show, I was shocked !!!

The house looked nothing like what I saw during the opening of Mork. It was painted different and somehow looked more..well like the house wasnt taken care off. But then again it was 2AM so I didnt excatly have the time to get a good view.

I have heard elsewhere that the downtown area of Minneapolis where Mary Tyler Moore throws her hat up in the air is still pretty much the same as it was in the tv show.

Well, I don't know if this counts but there was this one time where I was at the location where In The Heat Of The Night was filmed. There was a store there. It had a pair of pants that Carroll O'Connor once wore. The pants cost $50 but I didn't have enough money on me to buy them.

I'm pretty lucky to be living in New York City, which is loaded with TV landmarks.
I've seen Tom's Diner on the upper west side, which is the Diner that Jerry and George hung out in Seinfeld.
I often pass by the building downtown (Houston Street and Lafayette) which is where Grace Adler from "Will and Grace" runs her design business. It is known as the "Puck Building," because of the many statues of Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream that decoarte the exterior, in case you were wondering about those statues whenever they do an establishing shot of Grace's office building.
The one I really love is the Landmark Tavern which is the bar the cast of Spin City hangs out in. The funny thing is that the actual bar is located on eleventh avnue and about 48th street, which is at least seventy blocks away from City Hall. That's pretty far to go for a drink after work!
