Everyone is familiar with the general Unsolved Mysteries theme, but I'm also a huge fan of the specific themes the show would use for various episodes. I'm sure many (if not most) of the users here already know that some themes were used very often by the show for certain types of stories; i.e., there were "miracle" tracks, "UFO" tracks, "murder" or "serious" tracks, etc. Basically, songs that were part of a sort of repertory that the UM crew would throw in when appropriate.
I would LOVE to somehow be able to listen to these songs. Does anyone here have any idea how this could be done? Was an in-depth soundtrack for this show ever released?

To my knowledge, the only music that has been commercially released thus far is the opening theme. I believe it is available on those "best of" TV theme songs compilation CDs. As for an actual soundtrack itself, I'm not aware of one.

The introduction theme is also availble on i-Tunes. it appears on a Rap cd called "Unsolved Mysteries". but it is only the score. no hip hop beats or vocals over it! I admit I bought the Intro theme & main theme off of i-tunes.

That reminds me - didn't Lathan Williams release a rap CD titled "Unsolved Mysteries"? That could be what you found.
Williams was featured on UM. His newborn baby was abducted and the mother killed. I don't know if his "Unsolved Mysteries" album came before or after his appearance on the program.
