The syndicated game show "Family Feud" is relocating from Orlando, Fla., where it has been filming for the past year, to a new home town. It will be located in Atlanta, host Steve Harvey's home base, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Harvey's radio show is broadcast out of Atlanta, and now to accommodate the star, "Feud" will also be based in Georgia, using Harvey's Green Screen Studio facilities.

...I wonder how Steve managed to convince Fremantle, Debmar-Mercury and distributor Twentieth Century-Fox Television to uproot production to Atlanta?

Well Steve LIVES in Atlanta and does his daily radio show there. I could understand commuting to California, Orlando or anywhere else would be a hassle for him.

I have a question. How come the Family Feud keeps changing hosts? The guy from Home Improvement hosted it. Louie Anderson hosted it. John O' Hurley hosted it. Steve Harvey now hosts it. How come there is such a revolving door with hosts of this show?

You asked a great question! I have often tried to figure out why the Family Feud has had so many hosts do the show. I hope someone has some information on this topic.

Actually, Steve lives here in NY. He lives in the suburbs of White Plains. He comes in the morning to WBLS 107.5 to do the radio show. He'd fly to Orlando from New York on weekends to tape multiple episodes of Family Feud and sometimes weekdays as well. He is from the ATL and has family out there. He stated on his radio show that he was not the one who decided to do the move. The higher ups made that decision. He agreed to it in part because he has family there and it would be more convenient for him anyway. On the radio show, he was wondering why people kept assuming it was his idea/decision. Steve and his silly self. LOL.
