Exclusive: "Cash Cab" Host Ben Bailey Lands New NBC Game Show Gig

Ben Bailey, the Emmy-winning host behind Discovery Channel's hit "Cash Cab", is driving over to primetime.

NBC has tapped Bailey to host "Who's Still Standing?" — the network's new trivia game show.





Based on the Israeli series "Still Standing", the new game show centers on contestants who battle each other in a series of comedic challenges. If a contestant answers incorrectly, they're dropped through trapped doors.

The final player standing has a chance at winning $1 million.





"I am really psyched to be hosting this new show 'Who's Still Standing?' because it's totally unlike any other show," Bailey says.

"It's got great trivia, it's got big money prizes, and it's got real action and on top of all that, I don't have to deal with driving in any traffic."





NBC alternative programming executive vice president Paul Telegdy calls Bailey "clever, entertaining and a huge authority in the trivia world."

I'm looking forward to seeing this show. I hope NBC doesn't screw it up!! Ben Bailey deserves some national recognition.

I remember when Who's Still Standing aired and I saw the very first episode and I was hooked on it right away. I thought Ben Bailey was an awesome host for Who's Still Standing and it proved that he could expand his menu of game shows beyond Cash Cab. Too bad NBC cancelled Who's Still Standing because it was a cool game show that could've had more time on the air

!!! Oh My Gosh !!! I got to watch an episode of Who's Still Standing a few minutes ago and it was a fabulous game show and I especially liked that Ben Bailey hosted it and he was so cool. I sure wish GSN could add reruns of Who's Still Standing so I could watch it just to see my crush

I saw two episodes of Who's Still Standing on Youtube today and I can't understand why NBC cancelled it because it was very clever and had a cool format. I do agree that Who's Still Standing was a copy of GSN's Russian Roulette and i'm surprised that GSN didn't sue NBC for copying Russian Roulette. But Ben Bailey brought a lot of humor to Who's Still Standing and it was so great to see Ben Bailey in another game show besides Cash Cab. I am glad that Ben Bailey has lots of staying power to host game shows and I'm glad that he will return to host the Cash Cab revival on Bravo because there's no other guy with perfect talent that can host game shows like Ben Bailey can. But Who's Still Standing is considered to be one of NBC's best game shows that should've had another season because of it's awesome format
