Hey guys, here's another question for all of you:

Now, over 25 years ago, there was a song called

I Didn't Mean To Turn You On

It was written by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis-The Duo who produced songs for Janet Jackson and Crystal Waters and even composed the theme to NBA Inside Stuff w/Ahmad Rashad, Julie Moran, Willow Bay and Summer Sanders

and the song was done by 3 singers

In 1984, an R&B Singer named Cherrelle performed the song and it was a Big Hit as it hit the Top 10 on the R&B/Soul Chart

In 1986, the late English Singer named Robert Palmer had a Big Hit on the Pop Chart with his version of I Didn't Mean to Turn You On as it hit the Top 5 on the Pop Chart and the Mainstream Top 40

Finally, their was a version of I Didn't Mean to Turn You On and it was performed by 90's Pop Queen Mariah Carey and it was featured on the Soundtrack to the film Glitter, but the song didn't become a Pop Hit nor was the film a success

and so, I would like to know:

Which Version of I Didn't Mean To Turn You On do you like better?

Cherrelle, Robert Palmer or Mariah Carey?

Please share your thoughts on this

Robert Palmer's version is my favorite. There's just something sexy about a guy singing it. As a kid though, I liked Cherelle's version.
