View Full Version : 'My Fair Brady' No Longer: Christopher Knight, Adrianne Curry Call It Quits
Brian Damage 05-29-2011, 10:04 PM There will be one less mouth to feed in the "Brady Bunch" household.
Actor Christopher Knight and model Adrianne Curry have decided to end their marriage after five years, according to HollyScoop.com.
Phil Viardo, the couple's manager, released a statement to the website on Curry and Knight calling it quits.
"After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated. The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union. Not unlike all marriages, work must be put in."
The statement came on the couple's five-year anniversary.
"Both Knight and Curry decided to release this joint announcement today in order to preempt any potential rumors and gossip and ask that their fans and the media respect their privacy during this delicate period."
The two first met on the VH1 television series "The Surreal Life." That led to a spin-off series called "My Fair Brady" which documented their engagement and wedding.

I didn't think their marriage would work though. I wonder he has made up with FH since she got them upset, awhile back.
dakert 05-29-2011, 10:39 PM :( Thats too bad
Marvo301 05-29-2011, 11:36 PM I hate to say it but I'm not surprised. I never thought they were compatible. However it's always sad when a marriage comes to an end.
shotzette 05-29-2011, 11:38 PM ...and raise your hand if you are surprised. Nope, me neither.
catlover79 05-30-2011, 12:38 AM I'm surprised they lasted 5 years!!!!

Me neither, too.
Hughsgirl 05-30-2011, 10:07 AM Just another Hollywood catastrophe. I seriously don't know why celebs even bother marrying, none of them seem to take it seriously or even seem to mean their vows. Sad!
catlover79 05-30-2011, 11:50 AM I wonder he has made up with FH since she got them upset, awhile back.
Oh yes, Chris and Flo have long since resolved their differences - I read that some time ago.

McGillicuddy 05-30-2011, 08:40 PM It wasn't a real marriage. She used him, just like that crazy chick that killed Gary Coleman!
catlover79 05-30-2011, 09:07 PM Good thing no kids came out of this!!!

I totally agree, Marvin! I remember reading about when Florence Henderson said something like "I can't wait for the divorce" after they married, which really hurt Chris. I thought Adrienne was kind of on the trashy side after I did a Yahoo! search on her (since she was among the top ten trending things at the moment and I clicked on her name) and a few pics of her in a swimsuit came up.

That's not always true. Look at Tom Hnaks and Rita Wilson. they are still in love and he still surprises her with nice things to keep their marriage strong.
catlover79 05-31-2011, 12:51 PM Plus, look at Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, married for 50 years before his passing. Karl Malden and Art Linkletter were married to their wives for 70 (!!) plus years before they passed away. Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr. of the 5th Dimension have been happily married since 1969. Chris Knight's Brady siblings Maureen McCormick and Mike Lookinland have been married to their spouses for over 20 years as well. Not all Hollywood marriages are bad.

That's quite a list of Hollywood's happy marriages, but I was really just speaking in general about what I wrote. Is it just me or isn't it sad that we don't hear more about the happy marriages rather then just the unhappy? Personally I would love to read about the positive lives of the other ones rather then the nasty scandals and such of the majority.

No, it's not just you. I totally agree with what you're saying.
Tweety 06-12-2011, 04:24 PM Here's a thread started back in 2006, it was about "My Fair Brady" and much of the thread concerns the chances of this so-called "marriage" surviving:
My Fair Brady thread, started in July 2006 (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=177837&highlight=Chris+marriage+Adrianne)
I called this one from the beginning. Never had a chance. My first comment in that thread said "... ...there's no way that marriage is going to last. You only have to see about five seconds of them together to know that... "
