I'm going to go on Antenna TV facebook page and ask if they have plans of picking up Alice

I appreciate you liking the show, as I do...but don't bother with Antenna TV, Alice is a Warner Bros. property and they only have one program license deal with Sony. As for any petitions, Alice is too old for the networks you mentioned, Alice had a national shot only a few years back when ION launched, they played every episode, very edited to 22 minute versions, but it was played. For now "Alice" will remain waiting in the diner frozen in time like a TV dinner waiting for a TV return but right now, it will not happen. Waner doesn't even have interest in a season 1 DVD release, even though it is available to purchase as a amazon download.

I would like to see TV stations to be able to rerun shows themselves - and for gosh sake, without having to take the way some "network" reruns it. The way it was, before Big Cable "set the standard"puke: for how shows are "supposed" to be rerun - cutups, speedups, and PC censorship.
If it was that way again, I wouldn't mind - would absolutely love - to see these shows such as "Alice" rerun again.
I think the problem is that there are too many syndicated shows (talk shows, "judge" shows, tabloid "news" shows, etc.) hogging up the time TV stations used to take to rerun shows. If this glut wasn't there, these shows may have a chance again. Who knows?

lol It just seems so strange that all these 70's classics air but Alice, ODAAT and Chico and the Man never air. I would do a dance if they did.

I still believe Flo should have not been released before Alice was completed

OMG yes!! You got that right about the commercials!! ;) Too many commercials too!:mad: I remember they ran one all the time, I can't remember what was being advertised, but it was a Native American man, an Indian chief. That commercial came on like every 5 minutes when Alice was on! Remember? At first I liked it, I thought Oh cool, an Indian chief, because I always liked Native American culture. But after awhile it was like OMG they play this TOO darn much!!!! :(

Alice is one of my favorite shows of all time. It really should be aired on the Hallmark channel or maybe LOGO. Those two channels show The Golden Girls way too much. I love GG but it doesn't need to be aired as much as it is. They could easily spare an hour for two episodes of Alice at least once or twice a week. That would be a dream come true.

Hallmark does show the Golden Girls a lot! Another one is the Waltons! Four episodes a day!!! I like the Waltons, but come on, do we really need four hours of them?:confused: Surely Alice could be on for one of those hours! :)

Probably their most popular show. Bob Newhart didn't do too well on Hallmark and was cancelled after 2 months
