TeenNick Acquires "Freaks & Geeks"

The short-lived series "Freaks & Geeks" will join the TeenNick late night line-up.

"Freaks & Geeks" will air after "Buffy" at 11pm. It will also air at 2am following another "Buffy" at 1am.



Also, "Undeclared" will air at 12:00am & 12:30am.

Both series stars Seth Rogen and were procuded by Judd Apatow.

Fantastic idea! But... six nights a week? How about part of a weekend block, or maybe rotate F&G and Undeclared in the 11-12am time slot? As the article states, this might be a temporary fix until the '90s block starts in the fall, but it would be nice to see these shows kept on the network if they don't overuse them. Teennick has the ability now to become a solid network with a crop of classic '90s shows, a type of channel that those in their 20s and 30s have been requesting for the majority of the last decade. With a good marketing campaign, this network could really take off!

I know I am so excited. Well, kinda embarrassed that I will be watching Teen Nick, but still excited.
