I was thinking about buying the complete set through a bootleg dvd seller. I found one that may work, yourclassicdvds. But I don't know if I should. Anyone know if they are credit card safe? Also, what is the video/audio quality like? I would perfer for a them to be releaset offically but that dose not seem to be happening anytime soon. Thanks

i would be extremely careful about those bootleg DVD dealers, most of them are a rip-off
you might do better on the Trading Post board or buying it through eBay or somewhere that gives you SOME protection, at the very least use one of those "giftcards" instead of your actual credit card, that way they can only rip you off for the amount of the card.

You might try ioffer.com and search for Happy Days. You can find a ton of stalled TV shows available in complete series on that site that were taped from television. Just be sure to ask the seller what network they were taped from and when they were taped. You don't want something too recent that has a credit crunch and lots of editing.
I've ordered from ioffer a couple of times, one set of dvds were very good but another set was very poor quality even though it stated it was good quality. So it can be a little risky. Both sellers accepted cashiers checks from the bank so I didn't have to give them my credit card info.

these are directly of of tv and the quality is not so good.nothing original only syndicated versions.they are watchable but you maybe better off taping them yourself.and say the money.

I have an extra set I personally recorded (seasons 5-11) that are in great condition, if you want I could work something out with you so you dont have to pay, those sites are ripoffs.
