I was watching Good Times yesterday and was wondering about the gun and Thelma being robbed? The first thing I cracked up and laughed about was when Wilona said the gun was a 32 and Florida said, oh good James it is not one of those saturday night special's---LOL, LOL, LOL and How was James able to get a gun with NO MONEY,did someone give it to him; because he was making a couple of dollars per hour trying to pay bills at home?, did James have any sense to think when he brought the gun into the household that it could have been used in a murder in Chicago or another city as being stolen. Finally when Thelma was Robbed, her clothes was neat, pressed, hair was combed neatly and make up applied on well, she only had the torn shoulder material on her sweater, I know if I was robbed, my clothes will be a HOT MESS, dirty, hair a mess and crying..

Two lines that stand out from this episode

J.J-"That gun looks just like me, slim, black, and dynomite"

James-"old age will catch the crooks in this neighborhood before the cops"
