- the fact that Beverly Wills, Joan's daughter (who appeared in several "I MARRIED JOAN" episodes), her children, and Joan's mother died in a house fire, two years later.

Wasn't Joan Davis born in 1907? She was 53 when she passed away.

Perhaps, but since she was dead when she was entombed, this means her family would have had final approval re the inscription- and what would it have gained them to have taken off five years? Moreover wouldn't her own surving mother have known the actual D O B and corrected it had she wanted to make sure it was accurate? I wonder why the family allowed this?
