Was she crazy? Brash? Arrogant? Justified? Did it actually hurt her show to make such a comment to begin with?

No I think thats just the way Cloris is,very confident.

Rhoda had been such a smash spinoff from MTM that you can imagine the

confidence the MTM production company had with Phyllis.

I really liked the first season its sharp,its wisecracking,the 2nd season apart

from Mother Dexter(who is hilarious throughout)is when it starts to go

wrong,still going on about being a widow all the time,the unfunny office setting,Leonard.

I did like it though how Bess evovlved in season2,getting married then becoming pregnant,we saw a bit of the old MTM Phyllis,in Phyllis' treatment of Mark.
