If you want to see what the kitchen in the Thomas house looks like watch Sanford and Son. The house used for the Thomas house on What's Happening is the same house used as the Sanford residence on Sanford and Son. And on Sanford and Son they do occasionally show the kitchen.

This is so funny. I've actually wanted to see it too. Even though we see it in WHN!, I would have liked to see it in full 70's style. LOL! :D

I haven't seen What's Happening Now since it aired on BET in the 90s. I know the living rooms are the same but if memory serves, isn't the kitchen shown in WHN significantly different from the one on Sanford and Son?

I imagine the shows budget had a lot to do with it.

The kitchen was shown plenty of times of WHN. We saw Rerun eating a turkey inside of it, there were times Nadine was cooking or Raj was cooking. We just simply saw people walk in and walk out on WH. With Mama, you would surely thought it would have been a scene with her in there here and there
