Cindy was one of the guests at the local comic con this weekend, and I went to it today. I first met her back in 2002 at the same convention, as well as at the stage door of two plays she did here. She was super nice as always. You just can't fake being genuinely nice. She also had the cheapest prices for signed photos out of any of the guests. I've wanted her to sign this quote on a photo for years now, and she was nice enough to do it for me. Fans of the show will of course recognize it as the quote Shirley wrote in Laverne's yearbook. She joked that she should charge me double for writing it all out. I told her she can if she wants, but she quickly said, "No." Definitely don't pass up the chance to meet her if she's ever in your area!

As a Pepsi drinker I love that poem! And it was so nice of Cindy to write it for you on the picture! Definitely a great keepsake!!

Thanks! I've always liked it, too. I thought it was cool to have her write the exact same message to my name, just like it was "To Laverne" in the episode.

I would have asked Cindy what is was like working in the "Cannon" episode. She was so like Shirley. :wave:
