NBC is yet to make their "sorry, you have not been picked up" calls but the fate of several high-profile projects has already been sealed. David. E. Kelley's reboot of Wonder Woman is not going forward.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I totally see another network picking this up - probably FOX.

I hope you are right because in all honesty, I was looking forward to seeing the pilot. LOL

You'd think with David E. Kelley at the helm, some network would give it a shot. Maybe he just doesn't have the clout he once did.

I have to disagree. Not because of David E Kelley. I just can't see another network picking up one of NBC's rejects!

Recently, I went through tvnfo.com 's descriptions of series made by the decades, and what has made it to cable television is one reason why I will NOT have it. The cable fare/month can buy a lot of Good DVDs. I did.
Looking at the other end, Joseph Michael Straczynski went through hell getting his Babylon 5 (B5) series to television, and then Bonnie Hammer IIRC torpedoed the fifth and conclusion season on SciFi, because B5 was "too sci-fyee." TWIT! What does think "SciFi" mean in their channel. B5 was the Best SciFi ever, because it was more science than fantasy, had characters behaving like characters in those environments would, and was a thinker's show.
"Babylon 5 is definitely not a fantasy. It is a show that constantly refers to sociological, political, and psychological facts of our present life, and it is that which makes it so valuable..." -Mira Furlan ("Delenn Mir") http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001245/bio?ref_=nm_dyk_qt_sm#quotes c.24 June 2016
That may have been how B5 got jumped on by the shark. People running these networks are too stupid to be pet rocks and as nasty as saboteurs. Therefore, it is little wonder why we cannot get a Wonder Woman adaption to the little screen (or DVD).
What say ye?
