Matthew Morrison to Sing His Own Song on "Glee" Finale

Matthew Morrison will perform one of the songs from his upcoming album on the "Glee" season finale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Morrison's Will Schuester will sing 'Still Got Tonight', from an empty theatre stage as part of the New York City-based episode. The ballad, which is the lead single from Morrison's self-titled album, was originally going to include a big dance number, but creator Ryan Murphy decided to have Morrison sing it alone instead.
"It's about aspiration," Murphy said. "It worked because we wanted to do a scene where Matt goes into a Broadway hall and sings something alone... We worked really hard to make it feel organic to the show."
Morrison's album hits stores Tuesday.
"Glee's" Season 2 finale airs Tuesday, May 24 at 8/7c on Fox.
