Does lifetime or any organization monitor the "tip line" email address they speak about on the current Lifetime / Spike shows?
Just curious....if someone had a good tip would it got to an auto-reply system, etc.....you never know if someone decides to break their silence or has a memory that could help in a case

This sounds pessimistic but I would say since they didn't keep the phone number active, I doubt they kept any other tip line open.
Which if that is the case, makes them showing Unsolved Mysteries kind of pointless.

I sent a message via the tips page once: http://www.unsolved.com/tips.html
I got an email back months later from "Unsolved Mysteries Staff" answering my question about if/when they will release more box sets and of course they said they didn't have any plans at this time.
So it seems they do monitor communications still and they do answer their phone too.

Hmmm....that's interesting...and good to know...so maybe UM will still help solve a mystery :)
