As a tribute to Harriet, I would like all the mother's on the board to do the following:
1) Pick out an expensive gift at the Emporium and charge it to your husband's account.
2) Go to the supermarket and try to buy a bottle of Coke in the green, glass bottle.
3) Take plenty of pictures with your Kodak Brownie Camera using Kodak Film.
4) If you have not done so already, talk your husband into converting to gas heat.
5) Have your husband or children prepare you some Aunt Jemina pancakes and or waffles this Sunday.
6) Round up the gang and attend a band concert in the park in honor of Mother's Day.
7) Pick up your free Mother's Day corsage at the Women's Club.
8) Lecture your children about using Listernine to cut short a cold's duration.
9) Insist on dinner or lunch at either Harry's or Larry's Diner.
10) Take the gang bowling and try to win another case of Ginger Ale.
