Yes, Christopher Lloyd will be back as Mr. Goodman in PIRANHA 3DD.

Ving Rhames and Paul Scheer are also returning. It sure looked like Rhames was fish bait in the first film, but I guess we never really saw his demise.

John Gulager is currently shooting PIRANHA 3DD, which will hit theaters on November 23.

David Hasselhoff is the latest actor to join the cast.


Trading in the sandy beaches of "Baywatch" for terror at The Big Wet Water Park, Hasselhoff will face off with the flesh-eating fish.

Piranha writer and Piranha 3DD co-producer Josh Stolberg just sent out a link to the official teaser one sheet for the prehistoric sequel that arrives in theaters November 23.

Featuring the tagline "Terror lurks where you least expect it..." the poster is a mock of the first one sheet, with the addition of a water park. Why? This time no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of the best summer attraction, The Big Wet Water Park.

Feast director John Gulager reunited with writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan for the sequel.

Piranhas Attack 100 Beach Goers In Brazil

Remember that so-bad-it's-almost-good movie from last summer where crowds of scantily-clad spring breakers were viciously attacked by a swarm of piranhas at lake Victoria?

Fiction quickly turned to a horrifying reality (though not nearly as horrifying as in Piranha 3D) for around 100 beach goers in Brazil last weekend, Breitbart reported.

The throngs of bathers were treated at a hospital in Jose De Freitas for bites on their heels and toes from piranhas at a local beach.





Since there is nothing to challenge their position in the food chain in the northeast Brazilian waters, local environmental official Romildo Mafra told UOL Noticias the flesh-eating fish have taken to preying on humans.

So far, introducing 100,000 tilapia to the local food chain as an alternative is one solution environmentalists are testing.

According the article, the attacks have been going on for two months.

The Piranha 3DD Trailer: Pretty Much Exactly What You Expect from Piranha 3DD

Sadistic grindhouse throwback Piranha 3D didn't have nearly as big of a splash as The Weinstein Company probably hoped upon its release last year. After all, between Funny or Die videos and flying penises, Piranha was everywhere, and that still only equaled $25 million at the domestic box office.

The cheapie thriller earned double that overseas, though, making the sequel, Piranha 3DD, seem reasonable. Good thing, too, since that's the only thing reasonable in this bananas new teaser trailer for the film.

Piranha 3DD has a Release Date

Reps at Dimension Films have confirmed to Shock Till You Drop that Piranha 3DD is going to be dropped into the summer madness. The official release date is now June 1st.

This will put the film up against Snow White and the Huntsman; Prometheus opens a week later.
