I remember one day hearing Tom Hanks saying he hoped this show would never air again. He sounded like he hated it. Any clues as to why? :confused:

Yes, I believe he did say that he is not very proud of the series, because it was silly and he had to dress like a woman during much of it. If he had not gone on to greater success, than perhaps he would not regard it with such disdain. It doesn't help matters when talk show hosts like Jay Leno and Craig Kilborne constantly tease him about the series. But there are many actors who got their starts in worst projects than Bosom Buddies, and went on to great success.

I agree with you, because so many talented actors never get their big break. I used to watch the show and I thought it was hilarious.

No wonder his character in Castaway didn't want to wear that dress!;)
