"Fringe" Finale Trailer: Is Everyone Going to Die?

Everyone dies — at least, that's what we're led to believe in the Season 3 "Fringe" finale trailer just released by Fox.
Peter (Joshua Jackson) getting into the machine apparently triggered the destruction of the other universe, but that doesn't mean "our" universe is thriving in the future, where Peter crash-landed in last Friday's episode.
Walternate (John Noble) has managed to survive and has vowed to get vengeance. Could he be the man behind the group Peter dubs "the end of dayers," who try to rip holes in the fabric of the universe?
